Introducing Bluetooth Control in the MYCAR™2 App

The MYCAR™2 app now includes local Bluetooth control, letting you send commands to your vehicle even when you’re outside of cellular coverage.

With Bluetooth, you can still perform all your usual commands — Lock, Unlock, Start, and more — within a short range (up to 100 meters).

Getting Started with Bluetooth Setup

  1. Start Setup
When you open the app, a pop-up will appear asking you to start Bluetooth setup.

Make sure you’re within Bluetooth range of your vehicle.

  2. Not in Range Yet?
No problem! You can start setup later by going to:
Settings → Hardware Settings → Bluetooth Setup

  3. Enable Bluetooth
Once you’re near your vehicle, tap Enable to begin pairing.

  4. Allow Permissions
On the next screen, tap Ask Permissions, then select:

    • Allow while using this app (this must be enabled first so the Allow all the time option will appear)

    • When prompted again, choose Allow all the time

    • Enable Allow to connect to nearby devices

  5. Pair Your Device

    • After permissions are granted, you’ll see a success message. Tap Next and Close.

    • If you’re still within range, the app will prompt you to pair with your MYCAR™2 device.

    • Tap Yes to begin pairing.

    • When asked, confirm the request to pair with “TELEMATIC-XXXXXX.”

    • Tap Pair to finish setup.

Managing Bluetooth Settings

To turn Bluetooth on or off, go to:
Settings → Hardware Settings → Bluetooth

You’re All Set!

You’re now connected via Bluetooth!
Whenever you’re within range, the app will automatically use Bluetooth for faster, more reliable control.
